Shifang Taifeng New Flame Retardant Co., Ltd was founded in 2001, which predecessor is Shifang Taifeng Chemical Co., Ltd, mainly engaged in phosphate chemical products. In 2011, in order to keep up with the national economic trend and seize new opportunities, the company focused on ammonium polyphosphate and set up R&D department special for halogen-free flame retardant.

Our manufacturing site is located in Shifang city, Sichuan province, which is one of the most important phosphate production base in southwest China. It provides superior development conditions for the company with rich phosphate resources and complete support facilities.

Ammonium polyphosphate(APP) and modified and compound based on APP are our main products. They are used throughout many industries, such as fireproof coating, textiles, paper, masterbatch and etc. We have a wide national and global sales network, export to Europe, the USA, Canada, India and South Korean.

Taifeng Established

In October 2001, Shifang Taifeng New Flame Retardant Co., Ltd. was formally established.

New Direction of Environmental Protection and Halogen-Free FR

From 2001 to 2008, Taifeng was mainly engaged in the production and operation of traditional phosphate products. On May 12, 2008, affected by the Wenchuan earthquake, the factory collapsed in a large area and production could not be carried out. All employees of Taifeng actively carried out post-disaster work, Taifeng became one of the earliest enterprises to resume production in Shifang. Then, after careful consideration of the senior management and multiple investigations and demonstrations, the company decided to make environmental protection and fire prevention the future development direction.

Factory Relocation

In 2009, the factory was relocated to Ting Jiang Industrial Park, Hefeng Town, Shifang City.

In 2010, he joined Professor Wang Yuzhong of Sichuan University (awarded academician of National Academy of engineering of China in 2016) and led the research group to establish the national and local Joint Laboratory of environmental polymer materials and became a governing unit. Chengdu sales branch was established in May 2010. In October 2010, it obtained ISO9001:2008 quality management system certification and self owned product import and export trade qualification.

The company changed its name and completed its first reorganization

In 2011, the company changed its name to Shifang Taifeng new flame retardant Co., Ltd., and completed the first reorganization of the company.

Launch new products

In 2012, new composite flame retardant series products were launched to meet the market demand.

Signing cooperation agreements with universities and establishing laboratories

In 2013, it signed a school enterprise cooperation agreement with Chengdu Textile College, established the textile flame retardant joint laboratory to jointly research and develop flame retardants in the textile field, and prepared to apply for the provincial textile flame retardant joint laboratory.

Invest in the establishment of technology R & D and product application center and marketing center, and complete the second restructuring

In 2014, with an investment of 20 million yuan, the company established a technology R a marketing center with a doctor studying abroad, a professional foreign trade talent and eight professional marketing personnel as the main body. We will rebuild a new type of green and environmental protection production base, complete the second restructuring of the company, and lay a solid foundation for the company''s future sustainable development.

Join flame retardant Association

In May 2015, the company joined China flame retardant Association and became a member unit of the seventh Committee; through two joint development projects with Sichuan University, the company has completed two achievements transformation projects.

The technical director of the company was awarded

In December 2016, Dr. Chen Rongyi, technical director of the company, was awarded the title of talent of Deyang comprehensive innovation technology leader ("double hundred project") and was also published in Deyang innovation technology column for commendation; through two joint development projects with Sichuan University, the company completed one achievement transformation project.

In 2017, we completed the new phase of technological transformation project, developed 12 independent intellectual property rights and applied them to the production process after the new technological transformation. The new plant area is 11000 square meters, the new plant area is 3700 square meters, the new office building area is 600 square meters, the new green area is 400 square meters, and completed the construction of the green environmental protection production base. Through the joint development of three projects with Sichuan University, Two achievements have been transformed. Through two joint development projects with Chengdu Textile University. On December 1, 2017, the new product conference of Taifeng company was held successfully. In December 2017, Taifeng company was awarded "national high tech enterprise"

In August 2018, an organic phosphorus nitrogen flame retardant independently developed by Taifeng company and its preparation method and application won the national invention patent authorization

Passed the intellectual property management system certification in July 2019.
